Audience Feedback on production logos

Audience Feedback 1 
Out of all the production logo's, I like the first one the most as it is simple and effective. It works well as the letters SM are in a big and bold font awn so stands out and then the pictures in a smaller font. The star also works really well as it is the same size as the word pictures and makes the whole logo look a lot crisper. The other logo's are good as well however the last logo I feel like there is too much going on and so that wouldn't work well as a production logo.

I think all the production logos have good features about them but they can all be improved as well. My favourite logo out of all of them would be the second one as I like the idea of the logo being of a circular shape. I do however think to font should be changed of the word pictures as it is too bland and a more exciting font would make it look better.

My favourite logo is the last logo as I like the fact that the letter 'o' are film reels which gives the logo a real creative edge. The 3D effect of the word motion works well as it makes the logo stand out. I also like the first logo with the star and the font used for SM makes the font stand out. The third logo also appeals to me with the lines in between the logo and the star but I don't like to font used in the third logo.

Pitch for film

The film we are producing is called School run. Te genre of the film is an action film as it involves all the conventions which an action film will have such as shooting and fight scenes which will be involved in the film. The film is about three kidnappers attempting to kidnap Laura Gill who is the daughter of Bill Gill the ex prime minister. The school goes into lockdown with the kidnappers and other school students locked in the building. Three school children Elliott, David and Jason with the help of the EX SAS must save the hostages and the school before its too late. The majority of the film will be filmed in the school building with the rooms such as the common room and the drama room used. Other locations that will be used will be a teachers car that will be used as transport for the kidnappers to get to the school. A range of shots will be filmed of the kidnappers inside and around the car. The film will feature 11 main characters with extras possibly being added as well. The cast are all school students apart from the ex SAS who is a deputy head at the school. The trailer will feature a number of shots as different shots will make the trailer a more professional standard.

Plantsbrook school- The majority of the trailer will be filmed in Plantsbrook School. This is because the film is based in a school so the shots need to show the main location of the film. There will be many different rooms used including the sixth form common room, senior management office, the drama room, the dining room and also classrooms. The outside of school will be filmed also such as the entrance of the school. The drama room will be used where the hostages will be kept by the kidnappers and also when the video is filmed which is sent to the manager who sacked the kidnappers fathers. The senior management office is where the ex SAS officer will be filmed for the majority of the film. The sixth form common room is where the heroes will be located in the film but they will be shown in many different locations around the school.

Red Mercedes C class 2010- The car will be used for the kidnappers travelling to the school. The kidnappers will be driven to the school and many shots will show the kidnappers inside the car and also running out the car. Extreme close up shots of the car will be shown in the trailer.


Costume list

School uniform- The students will be in school uniform as the film is set in a school on a 'normal' day.
Black suit- The kidnappers will be dressed in black suits as they like to look smart. The ex SAS will also be wearing a suit,.
Balaclavas- Balaclavas will be worn by the kidnappers to hide their identity.


Props

Black gloves- These will be worn by the kidnappers to prevent any finger prints being shown.

Plastic guns- At least three black guns which are going to be pistols which the kidnappers and the ex SAS will use.

Audience Feedback on Film Logo's

Audience Feedback 1

I believe out of all the logos that were produced the first logo looked the best and the most professional. The reason for this is that the colour red for the background makes the gun and the broken glass stand out. The font used for the letters SR fits well with the broken glass and the words are shown to be shattered which is similar to what happens when glass breaks. Th colour red also represents blood and danger and so alongside with the gun, the genre of the film is very clear. The other two logos I did also like but I felt they were a bit more basic compared to the first logo. This is why I believe the first logo should be used throughout the production of the film.

Audience Feedback 2 

Out of all the logo's I liked the third logo the most due to its simplicity. I think it works well with the name of the film and a gun in a white box as it gives the logo connotations of a school sign and as we know due to the film title, the film is set in a school. I would however change the font as I feel a bigger and bolder font would work better than the current font. The the other logo I think are still of a high quality however I think the first logo has too much going on for a film logo and a more simple logo would be more beneficial.

I thin all the logo that were produced are all of a high standard and would be goof film logos to use however the logo I believe looks the most professional is the first logo due to the fact that the broken glass really stands out in front of the gun and I think that works really well. The second logo I also liked the concept as you can clearly see the title of the film and the guns at the top and bottom for the logo suit well. I would possibly however change the font used for School Run to a bolder font as I feel it would stand out more.

These are five logos which are used for big films such as James Bond and Batman. As you can see three of the logos have just got the name of the film which makes its simple but also but effective. The other two are different to the others as they are aren't the name of the film. Batman's log is a picture of a bat in yellow circle. The yellow makes the bat stand out as it is the colour black. When people see this logo, they instantly know that this is to do with Batman. The James Bond logo is different also as it has the numbers 007 and also a gun at the end. This shows that there is violence in the film due to the gun being there. 007 is James Bond's code name and so people also recognise this logo is associated with James Bond.
